SouthCron Monster surf

Picture shows South Cronulla beach after it had been smashed by Huge swell which caused major damage along the east coast . The sand was sucked out and replaced by amazing foam coverage. The beach itself was badly eroded with a drop of a couple of meters at the rock pool ends where you used to just step onto the beach. Railings around rock pool walk were destroyed and had to be replaced. The shark island bodyboard contest was held a few days later..
